of Lord Buddha, brought to Sri Lanka from ancient India's Kalinga province in the 4th
century AD.
We will then proceed to the Gem Museum where you will be captivated by the display

beauty of the Peradeniya Botanical gardens and a cultural show in the evening.
Begin your day with a guided tour of Kandy, visiting the sacred Temple of the Tooth
Relic, a place of immense spiritual significance. Then, immerse yourselves in the
vibrant colors and sparkle of the Gem Museum. Afterwards, embark on a scenic drive
to Ella, stopping at the breathtaking Ramboda Falls along the way. Later, experience
the heart of Ceylon tea country with a visit to a tea factory and plantation, followed
by a Nuwara Eliya city tour, including Victoria Park and Gregory Lake. Conclude the
day with a scenic train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella, enjoying the breathtaking views.
Ella is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts! Today, explore the iconic Nine Arch Bridge,
hike to Ella Rock for panoramic views, conquer Little Adam's Peak for a rewarding
sunrise view (optional), and cool off at Ravana Falls.
Start your day with an adrenaline rush at the Flying Ravana Adventure Park (optional)
– zipline through the jungle canopy! Alternatively, relax at the luxurious Ravana Pool
Club. Then, journey back to your hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.
Embark on an exhilarating journey from Ella to Yala, where every moment promises

whale watching, visiting a sea turtle hatchery, and observing the unique stilt

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Galle Fort, a captivating blend of Dutch
colonial architecture and vibrant local life. Take a boat safari on the Madhu River,
enjoying the tranquil beauty of the lagoon and the chance to spot wildlife. In the
evening, transfer to Negombo.
This afternoon, you will be taken to a sea turtle hatchery to witness the preserved turtle
eggs and the newly born baby turtles which is home to species like the Olive Ridley,
loggerhead, hawksbill, leatherback, and green turtle. At the Turtle Watch conservation
project, you can visit the hatchery, see the cute hatchlings, learn about their journey
from egg to sea, and support conservation efforts to protect these critically
endangered animals.
Negombo's fascinating history is showcased through its colonial architecture,
winding canals, and a historic Catholic church. Dubbed “Little Rome” due to its
strong Catholic presence, the town has a rich past influenced by Dutch, Portuguese,
and British colonial rule. Structures from the Dutch and Portuguese eras still stand,
serving as reminders of Negombo's pivotal role in the lucrative cinnamon trade.
Stroll along the canals to discover a lagoon teeming with marine life, where
fishermen have harvested lobsters, crabs, and prawns for centuries. Afterwards, enjoy
a walk on the beach and visit the vibrant and picturesque fish market.
